Access to Medicines Platform, a not-for-profit organization, has been steadfast in its commitment to collaborating with partners and multiple stakeholders to contribute to the improvement of health systems. Our primary focus is on increasing access to life-saving commodities and promoting investment and accountability for sustained health systems strengthening, with a particular emphasis on sexual and reproductive health and rights.
To achieve these goals, we prioritize the establishment of a robust civil society that engages effectively with the government, private sector, and other stakeholders responsible for health systems. Our work in Kenya since 2018 has centered around creating a strong civil society movement that actively collaborates with government entities at all levels, private sector organizations, and other stakeholders accountable for health systems. By doing so, we strive to deliver equitable, accessible, and high-quality sexual and reproductive health and rights services.
Our overarching objective is to enhance health systems, ensuring that women, children, and vulnerable groups have access to safe, quality, and effective health services and commodities. We focus on key areas such as reproductive health, maternal and child health, neglected tropical diseases, sexually transmitted infection treatment, and other life-saving commodities and devices. By strengthening health systems, we aim to improve the overall well-being and health outcomes of communities.
